The Accomodation

Our country house in classic Antillean style is located in the middle of nature on Bonaire, on the edge of a unique mangrove ecosystem. Capital Kralendijk is nevertheless within a few minutes by car.

The interior of Home Of The Muse is stylish and funky. There are twelve spacious bedrooms, all equipped with a double box spring, a private bathroom and a piano. There are also several common areas, including a professional catering kitchen. The lobby is the beating heart of the manor. The library and the music corner are so inviting that you would almost forget that it is also good to relax on the edge of the large magnesium pool or in the spectacular rooftop bar. For any occasion – from master class to wedding, from corporate training to television recording – the estate offers the right ambiance.

Roomtype 1 – The apartment of Kalliope

Kalliope, the muse of heroic epic, philosophy and rhetoric, has appropriated the most exclusive room at Home Of The Muse. This is a self-contained apartment with its own kitchen, dining table, sitting area, separate bedroom and private porch at the rear. Kalliope’s apartment is about 62 m2 in size.

All our rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet, a double box spring, air conditioning and ceiling fan. In addition, they are equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, desk and piano. Wi-Fi coverage is excellent throughout.

Roomtype 2 – The funky standard rooms of Erato

Erato, the muse of hymn, song and lyric, is the namesake of the five rooms situated around the courtyard of the manor. In front of the door, under the ever murmuring palms, each room has its own seating area. The rooms are about 24 m2 in size.

All our rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet, a double box spring, air conditioning and ceiling fan. They are also equipped with a refrigerator, coffee maker, desk and piano. The wifi coverage is excellent throughout.

Room type 3 – The extra spacious rooms of Polyhymnia

Polyhymnia, the muse of rhetoric and sacred songs, sings around in the poolside rooms. Two rooms are on the first floor, the other two above. Each room has a private terrace in front of the door. Polyhymnia’s rooms are generously sized, about 30 m2 in size.

All our rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet, a double box spring, air conditioning and ceiling fan. They are also equipped with a refrigerator, coffee maker, desk and piano. The wifi coverage is excellent throughout.

Room type 4 – The detached house of Euterpe

Euterpe is the muse of flute playing. She has appropriated the detached cottage just inside the walls of the manor. On the cozy covered terrace in front of her door, she blows out and enjoys the view of the stage and pool. Her room is about 24 m2 in size.

All our rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet, a double box spring, air conditioning and ceiling fan. In addition, they are equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, desk and piano. Wi-Fi coverage is excellent throughout.

Room type 5 – A room with a view of Thaleia

Thaleia, the muse of comedy, has chosen the large room above the lobby in the main house. This room is on the second floor and does not have a private terrace, but in compensation, the magnificent view of the surrounding area smiles at you. Thaleia’s room is about 35 m2 in size.

All our rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet, a double box spring, air conditioning and ceiling fan. In addition, they are equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, desk and piano. The wifi coverage is excellent throughout.

Room type 6 – The living apart together room of Terpsichore

Terpsichore, the muse of dance and lyrical poetry, likes to have space to herself. Her room is adjacent to the manager’s house elsewhere on the property, and has a private porch and a private garden. Her room is about 28 m2 in size. Terpischore is available during our Masterclass weeks, but she is not, in principle, part of the rental as a group location.

    About Bonaire

    A beautiful, pleasant environment inspires. It is therefore no coincidence that Home Of The Muse is located on Bonaire. Bonaire is part of an island group in the Caribbean Sea to which the better-known sisters Curaçao and Aruba also belong, and it is the smallest and quietest of these. The temperature fluctuates throughout the year around 29 ° Celsius, and with a water temperature not far below that, you can enjoy hours in and out of the sea. Bonaire is known as a paradise for divers and practitioners of all other water sports.

    But also on land there is plenty to enjoy. The relaxed mentality of the people combined with the unique nature make Bonaire, according to many, “The Real Caribbean Deal”. It is absolutely not difficult to fall in love with this beautiful part of the world.
